As expected a magnificent night
which saw Shane Warne, Steve Waugh and Glenn McGrath as speakers.
It was also an auction frenzy which saw our own Godfather Musca pick-up a signed
shirt by the current Aussie one day XI for £1,700, only
for another one to come up next and get sold for £1,200. The two big tickets (a
set of 6 and 8 signed bats) went for £13,000 and £17,000.
The boys also put in a sensational performance. Matty J successfully fell asleep
at the table in the middle of a speech and began snoring his
block off at a volume I myself was proud of. In summary
boys, ALL GOOD........
